Like so many musicians in the time of COVID I bought a professional recording rig and learned how to record myself. Which is quite a learning curve, however it turned out to be a great education. AND the CD turned out very good with the help of my friends, thus the title Almost Alone.

Latin Love 

Latin Love is a compilation of Hispanic tunes from Cuba, Mexico, Central America, and South America. Also included is a Latin treatment of the American Song Book favorite, "But Beautiful". As always, we offer original compositions, this time by Gerry Schroeder and Howard Dubin. We also have 2 tunes from the Tango king, Astor Piazzolla, and a tune from the Choro king, Pixinguinha. Unique treatments of each tune bring a lot of interest to this recording.

Journeyman

Journeyman is an eclectic mix of four classical compositions written for multi woodwinds, an ethereal piece for tenor sax and synthesizer, and a samba with a burning rhythm section. The pieces, all composed especially for this CD, feature the music of Allen Davis, Mark Davidson, Don Harper, Nick Venden, and Richard Bowden.
